Effective January 1, 2026

J&R Fort Lauderdale Concrete & Masonry, fortlauderdaleconcreteandmasonry.com, hi@fortlauderdaleconcreteandmasonry.com

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply when you use this website, ask us for an estimate or hire J&R Fort Lauderdale Concrete & Masonry for work at your property. By using the site or booking work with us, you agree to them, so if you don't, please don't use the site, and give us a call before any work starts.

When a written estimate or contract for your job says something different from this page, the written estimate or contract controls for that job.

What we do

We're a masonry contractor in Fort Lauderdale, FL. We do concrete, brick, block, stone and paver work at homes in Fort Lauderdale and the cities around it. You'll find our services on our home page, and you can read about our crew on our About page.

What this website says about our work is general. It isn't a quote, an offer or a promise about your particular job, because every property is different and we only know the details once we've seen yours.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free, and you're under no obligation to hire us. We give them after we've looked at your property, because the condition of the existing masonry, access to the work area, the materials you choose and the size of the job all affect the price.

An estimate is our price for the work it describes, based on what we can see. If we find hidden conditions once the job is open, such as damaged block behind a veneer or a failing base under pavers, or if you ask for changes, we'll explain what changed and get your approval before we do any added work at an added price.

Some jobs need a permit from the city or county. Whether your job does, and who applies for it, will be written in your estimate or contract.

Scheduling and cancellation

We put your job on the schedule once you've accepted the estimate. Start dates and timelines are our best estimate, and rain, material deliveries, inspections and conditions found on site can move them, so we'll keep you posted when something shifts.

If you need to reschedule or cancel, call us at (754) 228-0031 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special materials or started work, you'll be responsible for those costs as your contract sets out, and any deposit will be handled under its terms.

Payment terms

Your estimate or contract states any deposit and when the balance is due. Unless it says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is complete.

If a payment is late, we may pause work until the account is current, and you'll be responsible for reasonable collection costs where Florida law allows them.

Warranties

Any warranty on your job is the one written in your contract, and it covers what it names for the period it states. Pavers, block, stone and other materials may also carry their maker's own warranty, which comes from the maker, not from us.

Apart from that written warranty and any warranty Florida law won't let us exclude, our work and this website are provided as is, without other express or implied warranties. Concrete commonly develops small shrinkage cracks, and natural stone and brick vary in color, so those aren't defects on their own.

Limits on our liability

To the extent Florida law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses from your use of this website or our services, and our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

We work to keep this website accurate, but we don't guarantee it's complete or current, and you use it at your own risk.

If there's a problem

If something isn't right, call us or reach out through our Contact page first, because most problems get fixed fastest when we come back out and look at them with you.

If we can't settle it that way, any claim will be brought in the state courts located in Broward County, Florida.

Governing law

These terms, and any work we do for you, are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The version posted when you accept an estimate applies to that job, and later changes don't alter a contract you've already signed.

If you have a question about these terms, call (754) 228-0031 or send us a note through our Contact page.
